The Glitter Bird

Inspired by the popular Filipino Folk tale, Ibong Adarna, The Glitter Bird is a modern fairy tale where music, magic, and a little silliness brings wonder and inspiration to a Filipino family in the barrio. The Glitter Bird is a glamorous queen of the forest who may grant a wish or two, but only to those who prove deserving. Watch out as she hypnotizes with her catchy songs and dazzling dance moves, expelling glitter on those who try to hunt her and turning her foes to stone. A well-meaning mother asks the powerful Glitter Bird to help her youngest child who pales in comparison to their strong brother and beautiful sister. The Glitter Bird decides they all have a lesson to learn while the youngest child learns to face their fears in order to save their family.
