RECAP/ DRESS REHEARSAL
Celebrate your wins with a big recap and rehearse for the big stage
Whether you're stepping into heels or lacing up boots for the first time, this workshop welcomes all aspiring Drag Kings, Queens, and masc-presenting performers. No prior experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm and curiosity! Priority will be given to our Filipino community and masc-presenting folks!

About Special K
​
Born through PTE’s Drag performance class of 2020, Special K has slowly but surely been taking the Drag Scene by storm. Born in Quezon City, Philippines and immigrated to Winnipeg at 12 years old, performing has been in her blood from a young age. From competing in child pageants to performing in choirs, her love for the spotlight was undeniable. Now one of the youngest children of Winnipeg Drag Icons and Legends themselves Satina Loren and Vida Lamour, Bahaghari Pride Manitoba’s Drag and Entertainment Ambassador, and the co-founder of her own Filipino Drag Haus: Bahay Perlas. As a part of Bahay Perlas, Special K has a Dance Residency with YLDE, Featured Artist at Art Holm No. 6 and Artist Residency with PTE, under her belt. She is Entertainer of the Year ‘23, Imperial Grand Duchess XXV and Winnipeg’s Drag Chanteuse: Special K!

​About Orion Sbelt
​
Hailing originally from the Lamour coven, Orion Sbelt is a dynamic and electrifying performer that has been taking the Drag scene by storm. With a sharp wit and a magnetic stage presence, Orion is known for his bold and boundary-pushing performances that challenge traditional notions of gender. They hope to bring new life to the community through the formation of the House of Constellations, an all Drag King family, and “The Kingdom” show series, both focused on making masculine-presenting performance art more accessible to all. Whether they are strutting their stuff on stage or advocating for trans folx in underrepresented spaces, Orion Sbelt is a force to be reckoned with and is sure to challenge and inspire.
